• The CVCA acts as an advocate for the residents of Colo Vale to both local and State Governments.
  • The Memorial Hall is held in Trust by the Community Association for the residents of Colo Vale. The land on which the Hall has been built was sold to the original Trustees for the sum of ten shillings for the specific purpose of providing a community meeting place.
  • The CVCA Committee raises money to maintain and improve the Memorial Hall.
  • The CVCA has been responsible for many great initiatives in recent times including:
    • Stopping the Truck Stop development near the Church Street overpass.
    • Installation of the kids playground near the railway station.
    • The current work being done at the roundabout to the Freeway will become a dedicated parking area for “LiftShare”.
    • Restoration of the Colo Vale railway station
    • The monthly Village Market
    • The Kids Christmas Party for all residents
    • The erection of the stone War Memorial outside the Memorial Hall
    • The Anzac Day service at the Memorial.
    • Weekly activities held in the Hall where all residents are welcome (full details in monthly newsletter)
    • The establishment of the Colo Vale Village Men’s Shed at the back of the Hall
    • The production of a monthly newsletter which includes Colo Vale news and information.
    • Restoration and maintenance on the Memorial Hall
